Betty Lou Keay

Betty Keay, 73, of Bismarck, passed away April 24, 2003, at NHC Health Care.

Keay was born Dec. 26, 1929, at Frankclay. She was a member of the Bismarck Assembly of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents — Frank and Josephine Delashmit Compton. Also, three sisters — Hazel Marr, Marion Dunn and Irene Robinson. One brother — Frank Glenwood Compton.

Survived by husband — John E. Keay, Jr., of Bismarck; two sons — Rick Harp of Okla. and Mike Compton and wife Karen of Glenco, Mo.; step-daughter — Nancy and husband Logan Rich of Irondale; step-sons — Gary Keay and wife Chris of Ware, Mo.; Charles Chapman of Park Hills; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters — Opal Bone and Dorothy Limbaugh of Farmington; nieces — Vicki Scism of Farmington and Judy Martell of Mississippi; other nieces, nephews and relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be at the Horton-Wampler Memorial Chapel after 5 p.m. Saturday. Services for Betty Lou Keay will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Barton and Rev. Gene Leach. Burial will be at the Adams Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mineral Area Hospice or Bismarck Assembly of God Chruch.
