Hatridge dies in accident on Route W

David Hatridge, 24, Arcadia, sustained fatal injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Route W, just north of Highway 21, in Iron County Tuesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Hatridge was killed when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle, driven by Arville Declue, 30, Mineral Point, when Declue’s vehicle crossed the center line. Hatridge was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Declue was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, then to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where he was listed as having sustained severe injuries. A passenger in Hatridge’s vehicle, Jamey Hatridge, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.

A Bonne Terre woman sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route E, nearly a mile before Raintree Drive, in St. Francois County on Wednesday.

Jackie Dunlap, 35, was injured when the vehicle she was driving ran off the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Dunlap was taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre.
