Douglas Moyer, 29, Fredericktown, was moderately injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday on County Road 730 in Perry County.
The accident occurred, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, when a vehicle driven by Eric Clinton, 31, Perryville, rounded a curve on the wrong side of the roadway, striking Moyer’s vehicle head-on. Moyer was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington by Perry County Ambulance.
In an unrelated accident, Stephanie Ervin, 34, Bismarck, sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident Monday on Old Irondale Road, just west of Route BB, in St. Francois County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Ervin was injured when the vehicle she was driving drove off the side of the road and struck a concrete bridge abutment. Ervin was taken to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
Melinda Skaggs, 19, Bonne Terre, was moderately injured in an unrelated accident on Berry Road, north of Bonne Terre in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Skaggs’ southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and slid off the west side of the roadway. The vehicle then went down an embankment and struck a tree.
Skaggs was taken to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre by St. Francois County Ambulance.
