Wilburn Willis
Wilburn Carl Willis, 78, Desloge, died May 31, 2003, at Parkland Hospital. He was born April 9, 1925, at Leadwood to the late William “Jack” Willis and Minnie “Huff” Willis. Preceded in death by wife, Birdeen “Tripp” Willis; granddaughter, Kristina Hahn; sisters: Delores Willis and Mildred Benson.
He was a member of the Pleasant View Assembly of God Church and the Bonne Terre Eagles.
Survivors: Sons: Gene Willis and wife Robin, Leadington, Dennis Willis, Desloge; daughter, Diana Hahn and husband Lynn Hahn, Bonne Terre; brother: Lee Willis, Illinois; grandchildren: Carl Hahn, Brandon Hahn, Chad Willis, Aaron Willis, B.J. Willis, Barry Willis, Preston Willis; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation 4 p.m. today at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Desloge. Services 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Boyer Chapel with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker officiating. Burial in Huff Cemetery, Mineral Point. Memorials to the Heart Fund or Cancer Fund.
