The Marquand Citizens Realizing Our Potential group held their May meeting outdoors in the Historical Park.

It was reported the Yard sale to raise money for the pavilion was a success and much clean up done at the Homan Building.

Plans for the Pioneer Days were discussed. In addition to the Antique Tractor Show there will be an Antique Car Show this year. Many new activities are being planned. The next CROP meeting is scheduled for June 19. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome. The meetings are usually held in the School cafeteria but in nice weather sometimes it gets moved to the Park. Keep in mind, too, that these meetings at times get rescheduled if there is a conflict of community events. Check with Denny Ward, or Allison Boyer at the Marquand Grocery to confirm meeting times.
