Benjamin C. Baker

POTOSI – Benjamin Baker, age 91, De Soto, died August 2, 2003, at St. Lukes Hospital. Born January 9, 1912, to the late Robert and Dora (Godat) Baker. Married Helen Martin October 9, 1939. She preceded him in death.

Survivors: Sons, Robert (Julie) Baker Sr., Paul Baker, both of Belleville, Ill.; daughter, Bonnie Baker of De Soto; brothers, Chester, Jim and Don Baker; sister, Mary Ann DeGonia; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside service, Wednesday, 11 a.m., New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, with interment to follow under the direction of Britton Funeral Home, Potosi. Donations to American Heart Association.
