Hiram ‘Buster’ Young

FARMINGTON – Hiram “Buster” Young, 72, passed away August 3, 2003, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis County. Buster was born July 11, 1931, in Farmington to Milford and Reva Young. Also preceding-in death were: One Brother, Dale and one sister, Pirtle.

Buster was married to Melba Penberthy on June 5, 1948. They owned and operated Buster’s Service Center in Farmington for many years.

Survivors Include: His wife, Melba Young; seven children: Russell and wife Barbara; Ronald and wife Karen; Rodney and wife Kelly; Adam and wife Gina; Brenda Ladd and husband David; Vicky Godwin and husband Keith; Deanne Files and husband Gary. One brother, Milford Young Jr. Three sisters: Emogene Lewis; Shirley Caito and Helen McFarland. 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
