Two sent to hospital after accident on Highway 47

A two-vehicle accident on Highway 47 at Route A in Washington County sent two people to the hospital Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle, driven by Francois Butler, 56, Richwoods, attempted to make a left turn on to westbound Route A when it pulled into the path of a vehicle being driven by Dorothy Declue, 48, Richwoods.

Declue and a passenger in her vehicle, Amber Rishcher, 13, Richwoods, sustained minor injuries. Declue was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital by Washington County Ambulance and Rishcher was taken to the hospital by private conveyance.
