74 Blues games to be televised this season
ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Blues fans will have plenty of opportunity to see their team on television during the 2003-04 season.
Fox Sports Net Midwest and St. Louis TV station KPLR (WB 11) will combine to televise 65 of the Blues’ 82 games, the Blues said Friday. Meanwhile, ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC will combine to televise nine more games, leaving only eight games off TV. Forty of 41 road games will be televised. Details for the playoffs have not been announced.
Fox Sports Net Midwest will televise 40 games, starting with the season-opener Oct. 10 at Phoenix. KPLR will televise 25 games, 20 of them on Saturdays, including the home-opener Oct. 18 against Washington.
Ken Wilson enters his 20th season as a Blues broadcaster on Fox Sports Net Midwest and KPLR. He will be joined for the fourth season by former Blues star Bernie Federko. Dan McLaughlin will again serve as in-game reporter and will contribute to 30-minute pre-game shows on Fox Sports Net Midwest.
