Odetta I Yow

FREDERICKTOWN — Odetta I. Yow, 87, of Fredericktown passed away Sunday, September 7, 2003, at her son’s residence in Puxico. She was born March 4, 1916, at Glen Allen, the daughter of the late Cleve and Ida Mae Schrum.

She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, United Methodist Women, Madison Memorial Auxiliary and the United Methodist Church.

She married Kenneth M. Yow of Fredericktown on June 20, 1936, at Fredericktown.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: Her sister, Connie Moyers and brother, Roy Lee Boswell.

She is survived by Kenneth G. Yow, and wife Mona, of Puxico. Three grandchildren: Dana Berry of Farmington; John Yow, and wife Kristin, of Farmington; and Sandra Inman, and husband Jeff, of Farmington. Five great-grandchildren: Loren Berry, Collin Berry, Briar Hartrup, Kathryn Inman and Claire Inman.

Friends may call at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2003, at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Lawson officiating. Interment will be in the Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery.
