Harry Miller

FARMINGTON – Harry Eugene Miller of Farmington passed away September 10, 2003 at the Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, at the age of 77 years. He was born on July 3, 1926, at Fredericktown, the son of the late Charles and Serina Luceita, (Tinkler) Miller. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Aldolph G. Miller.

Mr. Miller owned and operated a well drilling business. He was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church of Fredericktown. Mr. Miller served his country proudly during World War II with the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW Post #5896.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Marie (Wade) Miller, three daughters. Kathy (Mrs. Roy) Tesreau of Cape Girardeau, Patricia (Mrs. Bobby) Long of McClure, Ill., and Lisa Miller of Farmington, two sons, Stanley Miller and wife Susan of Fredericktown, Darrell Miller and wife Donna of Stonypoint, two brothers, Charles Miller of Fredericktown, and Bill Miller of Silvey, a sister, Mary Helen Stacey of Fredericktown, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2003. Visitation will continue Saturday at 7-30 a-m- with a funeral service to be held at 11 a, m. with Rev. Dan Bowling officiating- Burial will follow ot the Libertyville Christian Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Libertyville Christian Church.
