Madison County Health Department Weekly Health Notes

To better serve the citizens of Madison County the health department will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Notice: Immunization Clinics will now be Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 to 11:30 a.m. then 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. until further notice.
Services from the American Cancer Society are now available at the health department for cancer patients. Included in these services are: nutritional supplements, information, mileage reimbursement, Road To Recovery Program (transportation to and from cancer treatments arranged through volunteers if no other transportation available), and wigs. For more information please contact Stacy Hinkle about these services.

Office hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 23
Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) recertification and voucher clinic from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. then from 1:00 to 4:15 by appointment only.
Wednesday, September 24
Taping of the Democrat News for the Visually Impaired Program from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Those interested in volunteering please contact the health department.
Thursday, September 25
Office hours from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. then from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. Staff meeting at 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. office will be closed during these hours.
Friday, September 26
ENT clinic with Dr. Stanley Thawley by appointment only. For appointment please call 783-2747.
