Jim Brackett
Charles James “Jim” Brackett of Farmington passed away on October 14, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the age of 27 years, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on December 4, 1975, at Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Joyce Jones and Jim Brackett.
Jim was an avid outdoors man. He loved fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, C, J. Brackett, IV of Cape Girardeau, brother, Shane Brackett of Farmington, three sisters, Soni McCormick and husband Randy, Jamie Appleton and husband Pete, Charlotte Brackett, all of Destin, FL, grandmother, Margie Jones of Colorado Springs, CO, three nephews, Alex, Jacob and Dylan, and two nieces, Amber and Brooke. Countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom all loved him dearly also survive.
The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel after 6 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2003. A funeral service will be held at Cozean Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Complete photo obituary is online at: .
