Lightning defeats Mules and Knights
FARMINGTON – The Poplar Bluff Mules visited Farmington in hopes of completing a soccer game. They only made it half-way through, however.
The game was called due to lightning with 13:43 remaining in the second half. The game has not been rescheduled.
Poplar Bluff led 2-0 when the game was called. The Knights’ Cory Gibson stopped 10 of the 12 shots he faced.
Farmington’s next scheduled game is at Kennett next Thursday. The Knights record stands at 10-5.
