Joe Randol Bruhl
DESLOGE – Joe Randol Bruhl, 85, of Farmington, passed away Oct. 20, 2003, at Park Hills. He was born Nov. 29, 1917, in Jackson.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Park Hills; Park Hills Rotary; Harris Fellowship recipient; Methodist Men’s Club. Mr. Bruhl was affiliated with the Flat River Coca-Cola Bottling Company from 1935 until his retirement in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur A. Bruhl and Ladye M. Randol Bruhl.
He is survived by: His wife of 65 years, Irene (Harris) Bruhl; one son, David Bruhl and his wife, Kay of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, JoAnn Overall (Wilson) of Warson Woods. A sister, Mary Gorman of Franklin, Tenn.; one niece and four nephews. Five grandchildren: Adrian Miller of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Bradley Bruhl of Kansas City, Mo.; Matthew Overall of Webster Groves; Ted Overall of Longmont, Colo.; and Kerry Bjorkman of Glendale. Nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m., Thursday at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to Taylor Avenue Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
