Five bills on table at Farmington work session
The Farmington City Council held its monthly work session last night. Five bills were discussed, which will be voted on during the council’s regular monthly meeting later this month.
Two bills dealt with naming the streets located behind Roosevelt, Lincoln and Farmington Middle Schools. Those bills state that the extensions will be named after the existing roads, which are Walter and Forster.
Another bill up for vote will be approving a contract with Lappe Cement to expand the road near Botkin Lumber in the Farmington Industrial Park, as well as contracting with Lead Belt Materials for the 2004 street improvement program in Farmington.
The council will next meet for their regular council session on Mon., Nov. 17 in the city council chambers at Farmington City Hall.
