Lois M. McCaleb
DE SOTO – Lois M. McCaleb, 64, De Soto, died Nov. 15, 2003, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1939, in Sioux Fall, SD.
She was a legal secretary with the Ray Dickhaner Law Office in Hillsboro and also worked seven years in the De Soto “Athena” School.
Preceded in death by father, Elwyn Alton Brakke.
Survived by husband, W.A. “Bill” McCaleb of De Soto; mother, June Inez (nee Allen) Brakke of Overland Park, Kan.; daughters, Cindy Alvarez of Phoenix, Az., Suzy (Mark) Jennings of De Soto, Debbie Alvarez of Bonne Terre, Shari Alvarez of De Soto; grandchildren, Derek Woodfin Alvarez, Emily Jennings, Evan Jennings; brothers, Dave Brakke of Mound City, Kan., Doug Brakke of Overland Park, Kan.
Visitation Monday 7-9 p.m. Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Services, 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus with Rev. Mindy Kiepe, Pastor of First Christian Church in Festus, officiating.
