Wilma Layne

DESLOGE – Wilma Louise “Tom” Layne, age 89, of Desloge, passed away Dec. 10, 2003, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. She was born November 11, 1914 in Cantwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Elma (Robbs) Merritt; first husband, Noah Clark; second husband, Clark Woodrow Layne Sr.; two brothers: Bill, and Winfred.

She is survived by: Two sons, Gary Layne (Janice) of Ind., and Wayne Clark (Margaret) of Wash.; seven grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-laws. Dorothy Layne of Park Hills, and Janet Layne of Park Hills. Two sisters, Pearl Cook of Desloge, and Iva McClanahan of Desloge.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge.

Service will be Dec.13 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Doug Elders. Interment at St. Francois Memorial Park.
