Mr. Chester Bohs

FARMINGTON – Mr. Chester Bohs, 76, passed away suddenly, December 17, 2003, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington. Chester was born November 2, 1927, in Farmington, to Charles F. and Elizabeth Gertrude ‘Cowley’ Bohs.

Chester was: * a lifelong member of Libertyville United Methodist Church; * honored as a member of the ‘Century Farm Club’; * served on the St. Francois County Habitat for Humanity Board; * recently, he and Pearl celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include: His wife, Mary Pearl ‘Green’ Bohs, of Farmington; daughter, Cindy Presnell, Farmington; two sisters: Martha ‘Mrs. Norvell’ Green, Farmington; Ellen ‘Mrs. Ron’ McManus, Festus; one granddaughter, Kate Rawson, St. Louis; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Virginia Thomure; Mrs. Della Green and Mrs. Norma Johnson, all of Farmington. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, 5-9 p.m., resuming Saturday at 7:00 a.m., and funeral Saturday, 11:00 a.m., December 20, 2003, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, Farmington, with Rev. Pete Soens officiating.
