John Lee Goad
PARK HILLS — John Lee Goad, 73, of Park Hills, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 30, 1930, at Elvins.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Scott and Augusta Hibbits Goad; one son, Gary Goad; brother, Ed Goad; sisters: Evelyn, Yvonne, Mildred and Shirley; grandson, Michael; and great-grandson, A.J.
Survived by: Children: Jean (Mrs. John) Gilbers of House Springs, Gail Cantrell of Park Hills, Dawn (Mrs. Darin) Wicks of St. Louis, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchilden, sisters: Frances (Mrs. Gary) Dalton of Park Hills, June McCord of Desloge, Barbara (Mrs. Marvin) Swaringim of Brenham, Texas, Marilyn Grisham of Park Hills, Kathy (Mrs. Larry) Swaringim of Brenham, Texas; brothers, Jerry and wife Barbara Goad of California and Myron and wife Dot Goad of Lawton Okla. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, Park Hills. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howell officiating. Burial will be at the St. Francois Memorial Park.
