Linda R. Rodgers

FARMINGTON – Rodgers, Burrow Linda R. (nee Cole) moved to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 17, 2004, in her 62nd year, so peacefully and without pain.

She was the wife of the late Darryl Burrow, the beloved twin sister and best friend of Brenda (nee Cole) Jones and “Big” Sissy to Sheila (nee Cole) Rodriguez, dear daughter of Lily and the late Oliver Cole, dearest mother of Ted Shipley, step mother to Shannon (Desiree) Burrow, grandmother to Haven Burrow, special sister-in-law to Ray Jones (uncle Pa and his wifey No. 2). Dear niece, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Special thanks to Judy Guittar and Mary (Blaydes) Horne for their comfort and loyalty, to Bro. Bob Beckett and (uncle) Tom Wileman for their constant prayers and love. Lin also wanted special recognition to her beloved Dr. John McGarry and his wife Evelyn, to Dr. Suen and Diana, and all those who have taken care of her these past three years. A SPECIAL thanks to HospiceCare Inc. and their wonderful, caring, compassionate staff, including Bro. Ralph. Not to forget her precious companions, Barney and Trinity (her “kids”).

Linda will be remembered for all her tremendous help and loyalty to her many clients at DFS and the wonderful co-workers who have been there for her. She has touched so many lives throughout her time here. Jesus knows the final count and we are sure He is having her crown made now. She once said that all who have touched her life are not to grieve, but to rejoice because she is now with Jesus.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, with special memorial service to be held that evening at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
