DESLOGE — While the Desloge Planning and Zoning did not have a quorum at Thursday’s meeting and therefore was not able to vote on any measures, the Desloge Board of Adjustment was able to vote on matters during its meeting on Thursday.
The Board of Adjustment approved two different requests on Thursday. The first request was made by Allan and Joyce Rawson concerning property located at 607 E. Chestnut. A shed is sitting on a concrete pad on the property line, and the Rawsons are wanting to replace it with a 10’x10′ building.
The second request was made by Joseph Crews concerning property located at 502-504 S. Cantwell Lane. Crews has torn down old buildings that existed on the property and wants to build new homes. An existing home on the property sits back less than 25 feet and Crews would like the new homes to be situated in the same manner.
