David L. Baker

DESLOGE — David L. Baker, 61, of Bonne Terre, passed away May 19, 2004, at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre. He was born Oct. 25, 1942 at Bonne Terre.

Dave was well known for his musical talents. He played for many benefits and charities. Dave will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by: Father, John Baker, and brother, Jack Baker.

Survived by: Mother, Virgie (David) Baker Richardson; wife, Paula (Hale) Baker; two sons, Thomas (Beverly) Baker and Robert (Andrea) Baker, all of Bonne Terre. Grandchildren: Linsie, Joshua, Corby, Taylor and Austin Baker. Step children: Deron (Andi) Manion, Warren (Cathy) Manion, Jimmy (Chastity) Manion and Jason (Kim) Manion; and eight step grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m., today, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Darrell Rhodes officiating, Interment at the St. Francois Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be directed to the Diabetes Foundation or Mineral Area Backstoppers.
