Area funeral homes offer residents chance to sign memorial book

Several funeral homes in the area are offering residents the opportunity to sign presidential memorial books in memory of President Ronald Reagan.

Moore Funeral Home at 105 Clark St. in Potosi will have a presidential memorial book out from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday for the public to sign They said the book will then be sent to the Ronald Reagan Foundation in Simi Valley, Calif., which operates the Reagan Presidential Museum.

Charles Boyer said there will be memorial books placed in the lobbies of all three C. Z. Boyer and Sons Funeral Homes on Friday for the convenience of the public. Those funeral homes are located in Bonne Terre, Desloge and Leadwood.

Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills said Wednesday they are placing a book in the lobby of their funeral home for the convenience of the public.

James Coplin of Coplin Funeral Home on Taylor Avenue in Park Hills said there will be a memorial book placed in the lobby on Friday. The public is invited to sign the book.

Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington will also have a memorial book in the lobby of their facility located on West Columbia Street.

All of the funeral homes have indicated they will be sending the books to the Reagan Presidential Library next week.
