Richard Dickey
MOORINGSPORT, LA. — Richard Frederick Dickey of Mooringsport, LA passed away on December 9, 2004, at LSU Medical Center, at the age of 72 years. He was born on March 30, 1932, at Farmington, the son of the late Phillip L. and Mary Jane (Coffel) Dickey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Vernell Dickey, two brothers, Ed and John Dickey, and two sisters, Hester Clubb and Leila Doss.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by two sons, Ronald (Susan) Dickey of Wright City, MO, David (Alicia) Dickey of Grand Prairie, Texas, a daughter, Rebecca Aucoin of Mooringsport, LA, a brother, Bob Dickey and two sisters, Lillian White and Bert (Albert) Weiman, all of Farmington, and six grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. noon, on Tuesday December 14, 2004.
A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel at 12 p.m. with the Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to donor’s choice. View Video Tribute at: www.cozeanfuneralhome.com.
