Helen Mayberry
FARMINGTON – Helen L. Mayberry, a resident of Farmington, passed away December 24, 2004 at the Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington at the age of 89 years.
She was born March 12, 1915 at Decamp, Missouri to William Amos and Mary Naomi (Pfieffer) Bowen.
On May 18, 1935 she married F. Morris Mayberry, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers: George and Vernon Bowen, and one grandson, Billy Marshall.
Surviving are: one son, Bill Mayberry and wife Joyce of Ironton; one daughter, Lavena (Mrs. Lynn Marshall) of Farmington; one brother, Audrey Bowen (Dorothy) of Farmington; six grandchildren; one of which is currently serving his country in Iraq and 13 great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington.
Funeral services, Monday December 27 at 11 a.m. at the White Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Miller officiating. Interment: Arcadia Valley Memorial Park, Ironton. Arrangements under the direction of White Funeral Home, Ironton.
