Sharon Lashley

KIMBERLING CITY – Sharon Lashley of Kimberling City, MO passed away on February 1, 2005, at her residence, at the age of 58 years. She was born on July 7, 1946, in Glen Allen, MO, the daughter of Gayle Archambo and the late Melvin G. Hawn.

Mrs. Lashley was a school teacher at the Reeds Spring High School, where she enjoyed teaching math and music. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She graduated from Farmington High School and also received her Masters Degree from her alma mater Webster University.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Basil Lashley, a son, Chad Lashley and wife Linda of St. Louis, a daughter, Charla Lashley and one granddaughter, Megan Lashley, both of Barnhart, her mother, Gayle Archambo and step-father, John Archambo, of Farmington, three brothers, Terry Hawn and wife Cathy of Farmington, Dale Hawn of Houston, TX, and George Hawn and wife Kathy of Fredericktown. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many cherished friends also survive.

She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She valued her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. May this teacher finally rest.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2005. Visitation will resume on Friday at 7:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel at 1 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Jerry Cowin officiating.
