Bryant AuBuchon

BONNE TERRE – Bryant Joseph AuBuchon, age 79, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, died Feb. 26, 2005, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Firman and Stella (Morris) AuBuchon.

Preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Keen, Irene Archambo, Mary Hammack and Eula; five brothers, Fred, Cletus, Chester, Jess, and Wendel.

Dear husband of Pat (Taylor) AuBuchon. Loving father to Linda (Dave) Buerck, Farmington, Peggy (Murray) Nance, Festus, Joseph (Kathy) AuBuchon, St. Louis, Steve (Diane) AuBuchon, Bonne Terre, and Lisa (Scott) Hammack, Bonne Terre. Dear Paw Paw of David, Denise, Traci, Lisette, Robyn, Murray Jr., Tiffany, Reggie, Ashley, Allie, and Abbey. Step-grandchildren Kevin, Paul, and Mary Kay. Also 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Peter (Catherine) AuBuchon of Bonne Terre.

Bryant was a World War II Navy veteran, a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Bonne Terre, a former businessman, Councilman and Mayor of Bonne Terre, St. Francois County Commissioner and manager of the St. Francois Environmental Corp. Bryant was a charter member of the VFW Post 6883 and a member of the American Legion Post 0083.

Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 28 from 4-9 p.m. at the Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral service will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre at 11 a.m. on March 1, 2005, officiated by Father John Schneider. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
