Joan Cole

SIKESTON – Joan Marie Cole was born November 2, 1943, to Jessie William and Edna Marie Teague in Bertrand, Missouri. Joanie’s hobbies were gardening, antique collecting, gospel music and playing her guitar.

Joan Marie Cole passed on to her eternal life March 31, 2005, in her home in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 61 years. Joan Marie Cole was survived by her special companion Charlie Sexton of Sikeston; a daughter, Rhonda Rhodes of Farmington; a son, Dennis Cole and wife Camilla of Viburnum; also three grandchildren, Jessica Rhodes, Justin Cole and Clayton Cole; three sisters, Lois Hampton and husband Ronnie of Benton, Sherry Teague of Bertrand and Debbie Fornkohl and husband Larry of Cape Girardeau; six brothers: Billy Teague and wife Ruth of Essex, Jessie Teague and Beulah of Rolla, Steve Teague and wife Tracy of McClure, Illinois, Rocky Teague and wife Mindie of Newburg, Ricky Teague and wife Donna of Elletsville, Indiana and Gary Teague and wife Cindy of Rolla. Also many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

Joan Cole is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Donald and Frankie Teague. Joanie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be a one-day funeral service Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Harvest Christian Cener, 1925, State Hwy. 32 in Park Hills, Missouri.

Visitation for the public will be from 9 a.m. to noon with the funeral service following at noon. Pastor Gary Teague and Larry Gammons will be officiating. Interment will be at the Park View Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri. All arrangements were made with the Teague & Sons Funeral Home in Newburg, Missouri.
