Mrs. Merle Propst

FARMINGTON – Mrs. Merle F. Propst, 85, passed away suddenly, April 18, 2005, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital In Perryville, Missouri. Merle was born on April 7, 1920, in Madison County, Missouri. Merle was married on October 15, 1938, to Loy Monroe Propst. He preceded-in-death in 1982. Also preceding-in-death were: her parents; three Sisters: Rose McDaniel; Florence Crites and Anne Hovis. Two Brothers: Truman and Ralph Ragsdale.

Survivors Include: One Daughter, Lea Ann (Mrs. Charles) James, of Farmington. Two Grandchildren: Robyn Lynn (Mrs. Douglas) Williams, of Farmington; Elizabeth Jane “Betsy” (Mrs. Bobby) Stevens, of Farmington. Four Great-Grandchildren: Douglas Williams, Jr.; Charles Brandon Williams; Katelyn Marie Stevens and Savannah Taylor Stevens, all of Farmington.

Visitation today, 5-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Thursday, 7 a.m. and funeral Thursday, 1 p.m., April 21, 2005, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, Farmington, with Rev. Dale Berck officiating.
