Virginia Belfield

Virginia G. Belfield, 89, formerly of Leadwood, died April 30, 2005, at her Farmington residence. Born Nov. 27, 1915, Cherryville to the late Charles Henry and Anne Elizabeth (Forshee) Marler. Preceded in death by husband, James Truman Belfield; brothers: Alvin Benson Martin; Eual Sylvester Marler; sisters: Beatrice A. Penberthy, Bernice R. Gentry Watz.

She was a member of the First Church of God, Leadwood.

Survivors; Children: Betty Anne, Mrs. James Jackson, Pevely, Lynn G. Belfield and special friend Glenda Niery, Farmington, Glynn D. Belfield and wife Janet, Farmington, James Truman Belfield Jr. and wife Diane, Potosi; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Elsie G. Wilkerson and Doris L. Compton, both of Leadwood; sisters-in-law: Pansey C. Belfield, Park Hills, Jean Belfield, Arkansas, Ruby Green, Leadwood.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Leadwood. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday at the C.Z. Boyer Chapel, Leadwood. Burial in Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials to First Church of God, Leadwood.
