Claud Dalton

LEADINGTON – Claud E. (Rusty) Dalton of Mexico Missouri, Formally of Leadington was born November 22, 1913 in Flat River. He passed away Sunday May 22 at the Lenoir Woods Nursing Center in Columbia, Mo. being 91 Years of age. Son of the late Walter C. Dalton and Elsie “Moore” Dalton. His wife Naomi Kearns Dalton preceded him in death. Also one Granddaughter, Cara Lea in infancy and one son Jerry Dalton Surviving are One Daughter, Judith Francis of Mexico, Missouri; One Son, Ray Dalton and wife Judi of Mexico Missouri. Four Grandchildren, Brenda Lester, Kilgore Texas; Jerry Dalton, Columbia Missouri; Barry Dalton, Columbia Missouri; Kelly Werner , Sturgeon Missouri. 10 Great-Grandchildren, four Great Great-Grandchildren; Three Sisters: Hilda Holdman, Park Hills; Mildred Ellis, San Diego Ca.; Margaret Spino, Boyton Fla. One Brother, Robert Dalton, Columbia Illinois. Several Nieces and Nephews; two Brothers-in-laws: Jim and John Kearns, Park Hills. Claud Was a faithful employee for St. Joe Lead Co. 40 Years. Also a long time member of the Flat River Church of Christ. He served on the Esther Public School Board from 1946 to 1958. He was a member of the Elvins Masonic Lodge #154.

Visitation Tuesday 5:30 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Home in Park Hills. Masonic Services will be at the Caldwell Chapel at 7 p.m.. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1p.m. at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel in Park HilIs with Evangelist Bernie Crum officiating. Interment Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Farmington.
