Melvin Barron

WORTHAM – William Melvin Barron, 71, of Wortham, passed away June 4, 2005, at his residence. He was born October 30. 1933 in Mine La Motte.

He was a member of the Collinsville Blue Lodge AF & AM; AINIAD Drum and Bugle Corp; member of Teamsters Local 600; served as Military Police in the U S Army from 1957 – 1959

Preceded in death by: Parents, Alonza and Mable Barron; Brother, Marvin Barron.

Survived by: Wife of 46 years, Hilda (Burch) Barron of Wortham; three Daughters: Tonja (Mrs. Jeffrey Brown) and their sons Gibson Brown and Reed Brown all of High Ridge; Karren (Mrs. Frankie Ganschinietz) and their sons Tharyn and Bradley Ganschinietz all of Salem; Heidi (Mrs. Michael McKee) and their sons Coy and Carter and daughter, Carson McKee all of Park Hills. two Sisters: Virginia Barron of Farmington; Marion (Mrs. Noah Key) of Farmington. Many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Monday at 5:30 p.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.

Service: Tuesday at 11 a.m. at C Z Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge, with Rev Ed Watson.

Interment: Leadwood Cemetery.
