Officers find meth lab

While serving felony arrest warrants on Monday, the Jefferson County Drug Task Force found components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

“The warrants were served at a residence on Ringer Road,” said St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock. “While making the arrests, components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine were found.”

Bullock said the finished product of methamphetamine was also found.

“A male and a female subject were both arrested and were transported back to Jefferson County,” Bullock said. “A bucket full of explosive devices was also found. The A.T.F. was called and the devices were destroyed by authorities.”

Bullock said both subjects now have charges pending in St. Francois County of manufacturing methamphetamine.
