Stars 20, Gators 14

PARK HILLS – The Bismarck Stars improved to 4-9 on the season with a Monday win over the Park Hills Gators. Bismarck won the high-scoring contest 20-14.

Joseph Knowles and Jordan Martin had a pair of singles for the Stars. Jordan Copeland came through with a pair of base hits and a home run. Austin Gray, Dakota Williams, and Brett Taylor all homered for the Gators. Taylor also singled for Park Hills.

The Stars will visit the Leadwood Sharks on Thursday. The Gators (2-11) will visit the Potosi Yellow Jackets the same day.

Wolves 17, Sharks 1

LEADWOOD – The Park Hills Wolves racked up several runs in their Tuesday make-up game against the Leadwood Sharks. The Wolves came out victorious 17-1 in four innings.

Joseph Mitchell was the big hitter for the Wolves as he connected for a three-run homer in the second inning. Scott Richardson, Matt Richardson, Christopher Welle, and Jacob Marshall all added a single for Park Hills. Paul Massey had the Sharks’ solo hit.

The Wolves (6-7) will visit the Farmington Redbirds on Friday. The Sharks (1-11) will host the Bismarck Stars on Thursday.

Titans 4, Oilers 2

CALEDONIA – The Leadwood Titans had an exciting game on Tuesday when they visited the Valley Oilers. The game was tied 2-2 after the first inning and stayed that way until Leadwood added a couple more tallies in the fifth inning for a 4-2 victory.

Nathan Francis and Dylan Isgrig both had a base hit for the Oilers. Isaac Vinson drilled a triple for the Titans and Clayton Brinkley connected for a double. Devin Culkin went 3-3 with a double and a triple and Kyle Coleman had a single and a home run.

The Titans (7-6) will visit the Desloge Raiders on Thursday. The Oilers (1-12) will be home against the Farmington Rattlers the same day.

Bombers 16, Bandits 2

BONNE TERRE – The Bonne Terre Bombers held a small 4-2 edge in the first inning over the Fredericktown Bandits on Tuesday, but the Bombers added eight more runs in the second inning to put the game out of reach. The Bombers came out on top 16-2.

Drake Spangler connected for a pair of base hits for the Bandits. Trevor Mason had a home run for the Bombers and Trae Morris and Tyler Newbrand both added a couple of singles. Austin Harper had his first hit of the season with a triple.

The Bombers (9-4) will be home against the Park Hills Rockets on Thursday. The Bandits (3-10) will visit the Farmington Outlaws today.

Dodgers 11, Twins 7

BISMARCK – Although the Park Hills Dodgers and the Bismarck Twins were scoreless for two innings on Tuesday, Park Hills drove in three runs in the third inning. The Dodgers added to their lead and traveled back home with a 11-7 win.

Preston Harlow had two two-run homers for the Dodgers and Riley Calvird doubled. Clayton Lowery went 2-3 with a double for the Twins and Jake Swain added two base hits. Andrew Rokiski blasted a two-run triple.

The Dodgers (12-5) will play the Farmington Longhorns today. The Twins currently have a record of 2-15.

Longhorns 15, Royals 3

PARK HILLS – The Farmington Longhorns and the Park Hills Royals were tied 1-1 after the first inning on Tuesday, but Farmington added three more tallies in the second inning to take the lead for good. The Longhorns defeated the Royals 15-3.

Chase Busenbark and Justin Heberlie both had a home run for the Longhorns. Busenbark also connected for a single and Nathan Wulfert and Dante Castro chipped in a pair of singles. Zachary Glenn homered for the Royals and Jacob Woodfin came through with two singles. Aristotle Butler added a base hit.

The Longhorns (13-3) will visit the Park Hills Dodgers today. The Royals have a record of 5-10.

Red Sox 15, Wildcats 3

CALEDONIA – The Bonne Terre Red Sox took a 5-1 lead in the first inning against the Caledonia Wildcats on Tuesday and refused to look back. The Red Sox triumphed over the Wildcats 15-3.

Matt Owens, Josh Akers, and Joseph Fahland all connected for two singles for the Wildcats. Nick Howlett had four base hits with a triple and Cody Huff and Ryan Aubuchon singled three times each. Jeff Wilfong added a single and a double.

The Red Sox (11-2) will host the Potosi Pumas on Thursday. The Wildcats (3-8) will be home against the Leadwood Rockies on Friday.

Rockies 14, Tigers 3

BISMARCK – Leadwood Rockies’ Cody Watson and Tyler Stacy delivered a combined no-hitter to the Bismarck Tigers on Tuesday. The Rockies remain undefeated as they took home a 14-3 win.

Brad Merseal had a perfect 3-3 day at the plate with a double for Leadwood. Tyler Stacy and Jake Gidden both had two hits with a double. Travis Brotherton and Torey Watson had a couple of singles.

The Rockies (12-0) will try to stay undefeated when they visit the Caledonia Wildcats on Friday. The Tigers (0-11) will travel to the Desloge Cubs the same day.

Indians 17, Bucs 4

STE. GENEVIEVE – For the Ste. Genevieve Bucs, it looked like things were going to go their way on Tuesday against the North County Indians. However, the Indians cranked out the big hits in the later portion of the game. North County took home a convincing 17-4 win over Ste. Genevieve.

Dusty Aubuchon drilled two doubles and a single for the Indians. Josh Jaco added a triple and a pair of singles and Tyler Beers homered and singled twice. Chad Moss connected for a double and two singles and Adam Ketcherside chipped in three singles. Kyle Moses had two singles and Brian Howard blasted a triple.

Andy Miller had a double and a s single and Dane Werner crushed a triple. Taylor Huck, Houston Meyer, and Colby Schilly all contributed a base hit.

The Indians (7-4) will host the Caledonia Senators on Thursday. The Bucs (6-5) will try to redeem themselves today when the Senators visit Ste. Genevieve.

Cardinals 17, Cyclones 6

IRONTON – The Bismarck Cardinals improved to 6-6 on the season with a win over the Arcadia Valley Cyclones on Tuesday. The Cardinals emerged victorious 17-6.

Brice Boren connected for three singles for Bismarck. Brock Boren, Ralph Scherffius, Sam Fisher, and Tyler Henson all chipped in two base hits. Tim Estes had two singles for the Cyclones and Nick Benz also singled. Grant Gardner crushed a triple and Jon Hankins came through with a home run.

The Cardinals will visit the Potosi Elks on Friday. The Cyclones (7-5) will travel to Ste. Genevieve to take on the Bucs the same day.
