Fireworks rules

In Bismarck, fireworks may only be discharged within the city limits until 11 p.m. each night through July 5. No bottle rockets or similar rockets are permitted. All fireworks are restricted to private property and may not be discharged on city streets or on city property. Anyone wishing to set off fireworks must have obtained a free permit from the Bismarck City Hall.

Bonne Terre residents may shoot fireworks from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 3-5. City ordinances prohibit residents from having or using rockets of all kinds (including bottle rockets) or fireworks with an aerial trajectory that have a cylinder or cartridge that contains a propellant charge.

Desloge allows fireworks to be discharged on private property from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 3-6. Fireworks may not be set off on city property.

Farmington does not allow fireworks within city limits.

Leadington residents may discharge fireworks on private property until 11 p.m. July 3-5. No fireworks are to be set off on city property.

Leadwood residents may set off fireworks on their own property from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. now through July 6. Fireworks must be discharged in a safe manner and may not be set off on city property.

Park Hills residents may set off fireworks on their own property from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 3-5. No fireworks may be set off on public property or on the property of others without that person’s permission. Fireworks may not be thrown or set off from a vehicle, nor may they be thrown at or discharged near another person or persons.
