Amanda Thomas

FARMINGTON – Amanda “Louise” Thomas of Farmington passed away on July 30, 2005 at her home, at the age of 80 years. She was born on July 13, 1925, in Knob Lick, the daughter of the late Howard Eaves and Ethel (Barnes) Forrest. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Delmar H. Thomas.

She is survived by a son, Steven Thomas of Farmington, a daughter, Susan Woodruff of Doniphan, a brother-in-law, Roy Thomas of St. Peters, and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Mahoney of Jonesborough, AR. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a best friend also survive.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2005. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Knob Lick Cemetery.
