Mr. Dwain W. Asberry

FARMINGTON – Mr. Dwain Willis Asberry, 78, passed away August 3, 2005, at his Farmington residence. Dwain was born on April 4, 1927, in Ellington, Missouri, to Clayton and Floy ‘Amsden’ Asberry. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 Sisters: Cleta Duncan and June Cook; 3 Brothers: Gene; Chester and Truman Asberry.

Mr. Asberry married Virginia Brown on July 1, 1945. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II; * Lifetime member, Farmington VFW; and a retired Teamster, Local #574, Cape Girardeau.

Survivors Include: his wife, Virginia Belle ‘Brown’ Asberry, of Farmington; 3 Daughters: Margaret ‘Mrs. Carl’ Caldwell, of West Branson, Missouri; Sue ‘Mrs. John’ Scoppettone, of Fredericktown and Gina ‘Mrs. Doug’ March, of Kirkwood, Missori. 2 Sons: Dwain (and Angie) Asberry, of Farmington; and Kevin Asberry, of Omaha, Nebraska. 2 Sisters: Connie Ahrens, of DeSoto, Missouri and Velma ‘Mrs. John’ Duffy, of Wheeling, Illinois; 4 Brothers: Dale (and Joann) Asberry, of Fenton, Missouri; Elva (and Wilma) Asberry, of Imperial, Missouri; Foy (and Theresa) Asberry, of Ferguson, Missouri; Udell (and Lucy) Asberry, of Redford, Missouri. Also surviving are 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation today, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday, 7 a.m., and funeral Friday, 10 a.m., August 5, 2005, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, Farmington, with Rev. Dale Berck officiating.
