Willard Emmett Turnbeau

Willard Emmett Turnbeau, 74, of Fredericktown died September 16, 2005 in Fredericktown.

He was born July 3, 1931 in Fredericktown, a son of Felix Joseph and Lula Belle (Skaggs) Turnbeau.

Mr. Turnbeau was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Nicholas “Nick” Turnbeau and Clinton “Rusty” Turnbeaugh; one sister, Pearl Turnbeaugh Graham; and one granddaughter, Caitlin Whitener.

Mr. Turnbeau is survived by one son, Gary Wayne Turnbeau of Yorba Linda, California; three daughters, Sharon Elaine Edwards of Lawton, Oklahoma, Twila Ann Whitener and Debra Louise Singleton both of Fredericktown, Missouri; one brother, Loyd Turnbeau of Springfield, Missouri; and four sisters, Helen Bollinger of Festus, Missouri, Ines Hahs of Fallbrook, California, Alamae Kelley of Springfield, Missouri and Marjorie L. Valentine of Fredericktown.

He enjoyed reading and woodworking.

Mr. Turnbeau was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the VFW, American Legion and Elks Lodge.

Services were held September 19, 2005 at Follis and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Truman Huffman officiating. Burial was at the Christian Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Nicky Turnbeau, Gary Turnbeau, Clay Whitener, Jim Valentine, Ron Head and Steve Turnbeau.

Arrangements handled by Follis and Sons Funeral Home of Fredericktown, Missouri.

Martin C. Krueger, Jr.

Martin C. Krueger, Jr., 83, of Fredericktown died September 6, 2005 at his home.

He was born July 30, 1922 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a son of Martin C. Krueger and Eva Ethel (Settle) Krueger.

On August 12, 1955 he was married to Betty L. Hudson at Bridgeton, Missouri

Mr. Krueger Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John L. Graham, N.B. Graham and Paul M. Krueger and one sister, Ollie Graham.

Mr. Krueger Jr. is survived by his wife; two sons, Martin C. Krueger III of Columbia, Missouri and Carl J. Krueger of Fredericktown, Missouri; two daughters, Cheryl Ann Krueger Heggemann of Marthasville, Missouri and Carolyn Mae Krueger of Fredericktown; one brother, Robert S. Krueger of Huntsville, Alabama; and one sister, Lucille Krueger Jackson of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mr. Krueger Jr. had seven grandchildren.

He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of the Baptist faith.

He enjoyed reading, woodworking, classical music, and art/painting.

Mr. Krueger Jr. received the America Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal for WWII.

Services were held September 10, 2005 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend David McCutcheon officiating. Burial was at Farquhar-Graham Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Carl Krueger, Gavin Krueger, Randy Heggemann, Danny Smiddy, Rick Fritz, Jeff Miller, and Jerry Prater. Honorary pallbearer was Jim Larmer.
