Several cats get second chance at life

PARK HILLS – There are several cats living on borrowed time at the Park Hills Pound. The cats were supposed to be euthanized earlier this week, but the veterinarian had to reschedule. Now they are getting a second chance at life if they get adopted on Monday or on Tuesday.

The first cat is a female calico cat. She is beautiful. If you want a house cat that has great markings, she is the one. She loves attention and would do great with an elderly couple or with a family.

The second cat needing a home is a long-haired female calico cat. She is a lap cat that also craves attention. She and her kittens were owner surrendered. The owner moved into an apartment complex that did not allow cats. The mother cat can be adopted without her kittens. The kittens are already weaned. One of the kittens is a turtle-shell kitten with a bobbed tail while the other one is a calico kitten.

The last cat is a male yellow tabby. This guy is very laid back and also loves attention. He would make a great couch cat.

For more information about any of these cats call (573) 431-3122 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
