Jane Taylor

FARMINGTON – Jane Lorraine Taylor of Farmington passed away on October 10, 2005, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 71 years. She was born on September 2, 1934, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Nobel M. and Tessie H. (Robinson) Watts. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Watts and a sister, Betty Jarois.

On May 28, 1953 she was united in marriage to Thomas Taylor at St. Boniface Rectory at Perryville, MO. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the St. Catherines Catholic Church in Coffman. She had worked as a teacher in the Ste. Genevieve area for 39 years and was a member of the National Council for Exceptional Children.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Taylor, a daughter, Donna Taylor of Farmington, a son, Dale Taylor and wife Janie of O’Fallon, IL, two grandchildren, Corey and Jonah, a brother, Raymond Watts and wife Mary of St. Louis, brother-in-law, Elmer and Mary Ann Taylor of Perryville and a sister-in-law, Lillian Watts of Oklahoma City, OK. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2005. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Catherines Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father Joseph Reilly officiating. Burial will be at St. Catherines Cemetery in Coffman.
