Alzheimer’s seminar Nov. 10 in Farmington

Representatives of the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will present a seminar on understanding memory loss and Alzheimer’s Disease from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 10. The free event will be held in Conference Room C at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

Stephanie Rohlfs-Young will lead a family education program that covers the basics of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s. She will offer the latest information on research, treatment and diagnosis.

The chapter is funded in part through donations given during the St. Francois County Memory Walk. Organizers of the 2005 Walk will present a check to Rohlfs-Young for the amount raised in this year’s event held in Bonne Terre Sept. 24.
