St. Francois County Raceway holds rewards banquet

POTOSI – The St. Francois County Raceway held it’s annual awards banquet Saturday night at the Potosi Elks club with nearly 400 area racers and race fans in attendance.

The top five racers in the Sprint class for 2005 were champion Joey Montgomery of Fredericktown, 2nd – Tommy Worley Jr. of Bismarck, 3rd – Timmy Montgomery of Fredericktown, 4th – Jimmy Hurley of Springfield, Ill. and 5th – Jason Keith of Fredericktown. The Rookie of the Year was Tiffany Wyzard.

The top five racers in the Modified class were champion Mike Francis of Fredericktown, 2nd – Jeremy Greenwalt of Potos, 3rd – Tommy Worley Sr. of Farmington, 4th – John Bohn of Farmington and 5th – Brent Thompson of Farmington. Alan Conner was the Rookie of the Year.

The top five racers in the Sportsmen class were champion Matt Eaton of Park Hills, 2nd – Doug Savage of Farmington, 3rd – Randy Forster of Farmington, 4th – Leonard Betsch of Jewett and 5th – Kevin Mosier of Stoney Point. Kyle Stolzer of Ste. Genevieve was the Rookie of the Year.

The top five in the Pure Street class were champion Mark Todd of Jackson, 2nd – Mike Abney of Viburnum, 3rd – Chris Webb of Fredericktown, 4th – Derek Shipman, and 5th – Bill Skaggs of Bismarck. Todd was the Rookie of the Year.

The top five racers in the 600cc Multi class were champion Tom Dickerman, 2nd – Andy Moss of Fredericktown, 3rd – Joey Boyd of Farmington, 4th – Dustin Barks of Farmington, and 5th – Rodney Williams. Brad Greer was the Rookie of the Year.
