Bulldogs and Warriors take a tumble

LEADWOOD – For the first half of their game the West County Bulldogs (2-2) gave the visiting South Iron Panthers (4-0) a struggle in trying to blemish the Panthers perfect record. The Panthers poured it on in the third quarter to run away with the game for a 56-32 win. The Bulldogs trailed by only three at half-time, 24-21, but the margin grew to 16, 42-26, after the third quarter

Travis Graham led the Bulldogs in scoring with 12 points.

Grandview 62, Valle 41

CRYSTAL CITY – The Valle Warriors will still be looking for their first win of the season as they lost their third straight game in the Crystal City Tournament on Friday to the Grandview Eagles, 62-41.

The Warriors fell behind in the first quarter and could never make up the difference. The Eagles wore down Vale’s defense in the second half to increase even more. Sean Odneal and Adam Hermann led the Warriors in scoring with nine points each.
