Nina Lewis

VAN BUREN – Nina A. Lewis, 84, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. She was born November 3, 1921 in Des Arc, MO.

Preceded in death by parents, Delbert and Mattie Alma Partney Robinson; Also first husband, Willett Coleman-Later she married Frank Lewis, who also preceded her in death.

Survived by three children, Aaron and wife Rita Coleman, Farmington, Myron and wife Darlene Coleman of Van Buren, MO, Myra, Mrs. Steve Winchester, Festus, MO; step-son, Roger and wife Jeannie Lewis of Park Hills, MO; five granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Louise Gibson, Potosi, MO, Viola Thorton of Arizona; two brothers, Osmond and Ruby Robinson of Potosi, MO, Norman and Ruth Robinson of Indiana; Also sister-in-laws, Gurlean Robinson, Potosi, MO, Lillian Robinson, Texas; Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and other realtives and friends.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Robinson, Naaman Robinson; one sister, Pauline Behn.

She operated Lewis Store for many years in Park Hills. She retired in 2000.

Visitation will be at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Burial will be at the Van Buren Cemetery.
