Accident injures two

Two Poplar Bluff residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident at U.S. 67 and Cash Lane in St. Francois County Saturday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Harvey Perry, 64, received moderate injuries and Violet Perry, 64, received minor injuries. Both were taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

Reports indicate Harvey Perry was driving a 2005 Ford Taurus south on U.S. 67. The vehicle left the roadway, traveled into the grass and snow-covered median and became airborne. The vehicle struck a roadway sign before coming to rest on the shoulder of the highway.

The accident occurred just after 2 p.m.
