Mrs. Eura Ford

FARMINGTON – Mrs. Eura Cora Glassey Ford, 90, passed away December 10, 2005, at her son’s Ste. Genevieve County residence. Eura was born on July 28, 1915, in Cuba, Missouri, & was the daughter of the late Soloman Licklider, Sr., & Elizabeth ‘Heironimus’ Licklider. Also preceding-in-death were: her 1st husband, Isaac Claire Glassey (1989); her 2nd husband, Lyle Ford (1996); 1 Son, Robert Glassey; 2 Sisters: May Gossom & Bertha Sauter; 4 Brothers: Soloman Licklider, Jr; Null Licklider; Herbert Licklider & Lem Licklider. Also preceding were: 1 Half-Brother: Arnold Licklider, & 1 Grandson, Michael Glassey (1991)..

Eura was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington, & was retired from McDonnell Douglas, Inc..

Survivors Include: 1 Son: Ray (& Naomi) Glassey, of Ste. Genevieve; 1 Daughter-In-Law: Joyce Glassey, of Farmington; 1 Sister: Virginia Lambeth, of Iberia, Missouri; 7 Grandchildren: Dale Glassey; Lee Cook; Michelle Pfaff; Terry Heberer; Cynthia Glassey; Allen Glassey & Sonya Korn. Also surviving are 21 Great-Grandchildren & 19 Great, Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Wednesday, 7 a.m., & funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m., December 14, 2005, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, with Dr. David Webster officiating.
