Board passes ordinance dealing with Highley Lane
DESLOGE – The Desloge Board of Aldermen had a light agenda Monday evening. The board passed an ordinance that will restrict traffic movement along Highley Lane.
&#8220Motorists will only be able to travel east from Adams Road to Hawthorn Road on Highley Lane,” said Desloge Mayor David Kater.
The board tabled an ordinance that would prohibit parking on West Chestnut at Country Lane.
A measure dealing with the Cantwell Storm Water Project was also tabled.
&#8220It’s still under discussion,” Kater said. &#8220We are still deciding what to do with this.”
The board approved a payment to Jokerst for $45,734.80 for the Highley Lane Project and a payment of $115,000 to Metropolitan Engineering for the engineering the new municipal water system.
Metropolitan is expected to complete the engineering plans of the new system in February so that they can be submitted to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for final approval.
