Lady Cats top Central, Ste. Gen.

The Lady Cats Basketball Team defeated the Central Rebels, 64-37, here, Thursday, January 26.

The Lady Cats took a small lead early and built on it in each period. The first quarter showed the Cats ahead, 13-6. The lead increased to 24-14 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Lady Cats took a commanding lead as the offense clicked on all cylinders. The 29-13 period made it 53-27.

Betsy Royer led four FHS players in double figures with 15 points. Courtney Kemp scored 12, and Jessi Brown and Deidre Hughes scored ten, each. Johnna Tinnin scored seven, Amy Hendrix and Amanda Huffman had four, each, and Nicki Settlemoir had two.

Royer led with nine rebounds and six blocked shots. Kemp had five assists and five steals.

The Lady Cats play at DeSoto, Friday.
