Outlaws collect no-hitter, Longhorns reach 11-0

FARMINGTON – The Farmington Outlaws held a hit-a-thon against the Farmington Rattlers in Bantam League action on Friday to capture a 16-0 win. Logan Winder, Brandon Winder, Blair Boyd, and Coby Moon all had two singles each. Brayden Moon hit a single and a double, and Aaron Hargiss hit a triple and a single. Ben Sitzes had one single

Coby Moon was the winning pitcher throwing a no-hit, three walk game and striking out nine batters in his three innings on the mound.

Longhorns 12, Steamers 7

CALEDONIA – The Farmington Longhorns (11-0)collected 11 hits in a 12-7 Cal Ripken win over the Valley Steamers.

Taylor Rogers and Travis Draper both had a couple of base hits for the Steamers, and Lance Midgett and Todd Price both chipped in a single. Connor Davault doubled twice for the Longhorns, and Brandon Kearns and Brian Koppeis both had two hits which included a double. Nathan Wulfert had two singles, and Chase Busenbark, Doug Warren, and Josh White all contributed a single.

Busenbark surrendered only two hits and recorded two strike outs for the win.
